Pony pulled her card key from her pocket and unlocked the door to her room. She waited until Adam went inside before closing behind her. Flicking on the light, the room was a decent size. It contained a couch, a coffee table and a television set. On the floor were boxes of items. Framed works of art with award ribbons were set on a random table, a huge pile of books were stacked by the couch and a tank containing an infant tortoise sat on the coffee table.
"Well... here we are. Sorry about the... mess, but if only I knew I was gonna bring back a friend." said Pony and she walked over to the coffee table and stuck her finger into the tank, petting the baby tortoise's tiny head. She spoke to the tortoise in a soft, mothery tone, "Hey, baby... Did you keep the place safe from intruders?" She turned to Adam, speaking in her normal tone, "This is my baby tortoise, Turbo."

Adam chuckled a little at the young tortoise's name. "That's a prety cute name for a tortoise," he commented. "And I don't mind the mess... that much."

Pony gave a playful grin, "Gee, thanks." She replied in a sarcastic tone, then laughed. She rose to her feet and walked into the small kitchen and washed her hands, "It won't take long to make dinner."
Pony prepared the water as she dumped the spaghetti sauce into a seperate pan. She let that heat up after adding extra oregeno to give it much more flavor. She drained the noodles after they cooked. She poured the sauce onto the plate of noodles and got out a fork for her and a corn pricker for Adam. She sat onto the couch and presented Adam with the corn pricker with a bout of shyness that pounced on her once again, "I don't have tiny forks so this will have to do... I... hope you enjoy it..."
She twirled the spaghetti with her fork and began eating her first bite as she watched her tortoise nip at a leaf of lettuce.

"Th... thank you," Adam said, twirling a strand of spaghetti around the corn picker. Hmm... I don't know why, the bee thought, but spmething about this seems familiar... But from where?

Pony slurped up a single strand, not knowing that Adam was at the other end of it. Her full attention was focused on her tortoise.

Adam, meanwhile, was still pondering. I think Barry told me about this once, the bee thought. Yeah... there were these two dogs, and they went to a restaurant and ordered spaghetti. Then the waiter came out and sang this one song... Unknown to both the bee and the human, their lips were coming closer, and closer, and...

Their lips touched. A sweet tingling sensation suddenly came to Pony's lips. She then realized what was happening and her entire body froze from surprise. Her stomach flipped and a glowing warmth rose within the girl. Pony became confused by the sudden rush of sensations. She couldn't think, she couldn't move... Adam would have to make the next move...

Adam was frozen stiff when he realized what was going on. He looked at Pony, who was in a similar condition. Then, noticing that she couldn't move, he decided to break the spaghetti strand. The bee then decided to try to look at something else.

Pony felt breathless and light-headed for a moment. She gazed down at the bee, smiling.

Adam focused on Pony for a moment and smiled. All was quiet at the time. Both were waiting for something to break the silence.

"Um.... I, uh... that... wasn't so bad," Pony finally said, blushing madly, "That was... actually... kind of... nice..."

"Yeah... it... kind of was," replied Adam, also blushing. After a few seconds, he said, "So... yeah." The bee cleared his throat. "The spaghetti is delicious."

"Th-Thank you, Adam," said Pony, still blushing. Without giving it a second thought, she leaned toward the little bee and planted a kiss on his cheek. The aroma of honey that excreted from Adam seemed to have a calming affect on Pony. Her head remained in its place, inhaling the smell of honey, Gosh, he smells so good...

Adam was.... stunned, to put it bluntly. She... kissed me, he thought. She really kissed me. The little bee looked up at Pony. Barry's right, he concluded, I've got to take some time off at work once in a while.

Pony pulled back slowly. She couldn't stop smiling at the little bee, I can't believe I just kissed him..., "Umm... A-Adam...?"

Adam snapped out of thinking. "Huh? Wha-?" He then realized that Pony had spoken to him. "Yes... Pony?"

"Umm.... I think... you better finish eating... before you have to leave..." Pony replied with a hint of disappointment.

Adam then realized that he had to go back to the hive. Back to his job. Back to routine life. To tell the truth, he wanted to stay for a while longer, but... The bee sighed. "I... I guess you're right," he replied sadly.

Pony noticed the saddness in Adam's tone. Her expression contorted into one filled with concern. She spoke gently, "Adam, are you okay?"

Adam looked up. "I'm okay..." The little bee sighed. "Maybe... maybe I should go now... to make things somewhat easier..." He really didn't want to leave Pony, but he knew that he had to sooner or later.
