Barry just finished his first pollen jocking shift and he was looking forward to his shift at the Flower Shop. Mostly, he was looking forward to seeing his human friend, Vanessa. The little bee slipped through a crack in the door and looked around for her, "Vanessa?"

Vanessa was held a flower in her hand, examining its color and shape. She smiled, and placed the flower in a vase next to her when she heard a tiny voice. "Hey there, Barry," she said with a smile.

"Hey, Vanny!" Barry happily greeted Vanessa with the given nickname. He flew over to the florist and hovered before her, "Slow day today?"

She giggled. "Haha, yeah. I'm a bit disappointed too, since I ordered a bundle of these gorgeous white flowers for the shop. But it seems they've all wilted except for two. It's a shame, really."

"I really liked those white flowers too," Barry landed on Vanessa's shoulder, "By the way, I checked my calender and today is the one month aniversery from when we first met!" The little bee said excitedly.

"Ah, it is!" Vanessa replied happily. "I almost forgot with the busy day I had, but I've been thinking of what we could do to celebrate. How about a sleepover at my apartment?"

Vanessa walked over to the door and flipped over the OPEN sign to CLOSED. Then she walked back to the counter to tidy up last minute messes. The day was done.

Barry's blue eyes lit up with excitement, "Yeah! That sounds like fun!" the little bee landed upon Vanessa's shoulder upon finishing tidying up the shop, "We can have dinner, stay up late, and do whatever else we can think of."

She nodded with a mischeivious smile as she flicked the light switch off and left out the shop door; Barry on her shoulder.

The made their way back to the apartment, and Vanessa yawned. She was tired, but still excited.

"What would you like to do first?" the little bee asked his human friend, looking up at her with his big blue eyes.
